       In 1977, on a day like this, there was a communal compound known as Kalakuta Republic located at 14 Agege Motor Road, Idi- Oro Lagos, which was burnt to ashes by some members of the Nigerian Army.

       And she gave-up the ghost to joined her ancestor just two months after the incident.

      The razing of Kalakuta was a backlash from Fela’s record, Zombie where criticized Nigeria’s military government and gave his opinion  about the present government at that time.
