ANOTHER RECORD BREAKER: A LASPOTECH STUDENT BREAKS RECORD TO FINISHED AS THE POLYTHENIC FIRST 4.0 CPGA GRADUATE.

    A female student of Lagos State Polythenic (LASPOTECH), Omoshalewa Adenike Babalola, is another record breaker who has made history as the first student to graduate with the maximum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.0 in the polythenic.

      During the just concluded 24th Convocation...
of the school, Omoshalewa, who is a Science Laboratory Graduate, got many positive attention.

     Popular figures, such as: Lagos State Governor, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ayangburen of Ikorodu, Oba Kabiru Shotobi, just to mention but a few, were in attendance duing the convocation to graced the occasion.

     The polythenic rector, Mr. Sogunro disclosed that Omoshalewa happens to be the first student to graduate with the maximum CGPA.

    The rector also said the school would make efforts to offer her a job having completed her National Youth Service.

    A total number of 8,519 students graduated, of which 263 only graduated with distinction.

    Governor Ambode advised the graduands to be innovative and practice the entrepreneurial skills they acquired from the school. Saying, “There is no point saying the fact that we are in a challenging time, especially the current unemployment rate. It is time to bring out your innovative and entrepreneurial skills. You must look and explore other options to engage yourselves.”

    Omoshalewa, who also spoke on behalf of the other graduands, gave kudos to the polythenic's staff for their guidance.

   She went further describing her outstanding feat as unimaginable, saying: “I never had it so easy.

   She disclosed that group reading and hard work gave her the outstanding success and the secrets of her success she has never thought she could acheived.

  The lady was also rewarded with several prizes for her outstanding results and for being the best student.

  Some weeks ago, Ayodele Daniel broke record to become first UNILAG STUDENT  to graduate with the maximum CPGA of 5.0.
