LASSA FEVER KILLED TWO PEOPLE IN NASARAWA STATE.
Early today, two people have been confirmed dead in Nasarawa due to the outbreak of Lassa fever in the state.
Dr. Daniel Iya, who is the present commissioner for health, broke the news to the public that two persons were confirmed dead at the Dalhatu Specialist Hospital in Lafia, which is the State capital of Nasarawa.

There was a report from the nation news today that a mother and her seven children were burnt to death in a fire outbreak in Ohufu village, Ogboji community in Ishielu local government area of Ebonyi State.

state sanitation law.
Mr. Tiamiyu Alade, an environmental health officer, told the News Agency of Nigeria that the cleaning culture of the people in the state in general, has been protecting them from any major diseases and epidemic.
Meanwhile the residents, who has always been observing the monthly sanitation exercise religiously, have accused the state government of not properly disposing the waste thereafter.
They now plead with the government to ensure proper evacuation of refuse after the monthly sanitation exercise.

Strains of HIV are becoming resistant to an antiviral drug commonly used to prevent and fight the virus, research has suggested.
HIV was resistant to the drug Tenofovir in 60% of cases in several African countries, according to the study, covering the period from 1998 to 2015.
The research looked at around 2,000 HIV patients worldwide and more than 69% of people living with HIV worldwide live in sub-Saharan Africa.

TOYIN AIMAKHU IS A BORN-AGAIN CHRISTIAN.
Recently, the controversial actress has given her life to Christ and has become a born-again christian. But as a new believer,she now seek a genuine and biblical advice as regards to smoking.
Toyin has decided to know if smoking is really a sin or not simply because the Bible does not actually disclose any statement about it as it is.
Furthermore, she asked her pastor to counsel and guide her to the truth about smoking and here is what she's got to say:
