YOU HAVE JUST SEVEN DAYS, PDP TO FALEKE IN LAGOS STATE.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has given the embattled Kogi State Deputy Governor elect, James Faleke seven days to make up his mind or be booted out of the House of Representatives.

The Lagos PDP chairman, Capt. Tunji Shelle(rtd.) said “Faleke should not continue to represent the Ikeja constituency because he presently has his voting unit relocated to Kogi State. This is an  open assault to decent democracy and ridicules the nation before the international community.”

The PDP accused Faleke of political immorality, adding that he cannot represent the people of Lagos and Kogi states at the same time.

Adding that “If the demand is not met within the...
period of this ultimatum, we shall use all means permitted and effective to reclaim the seat for Lagos State.”

But Faleke has strongly dismissed the comments saying,“Shelle must have read the constitution upside down by reading immorality to what I have done. He should consult experts to have a better understanding of the statute book.''

This is a constitutional democracy. So,“Why should he give me a seven-day ultimatum? If he is so serious about what he is saying, let him go to court then.''

This is because the law is there to be tested.
