       Ludacris visited the Children’s Hospital of Atlanta to help spread the cheer lacking in the lives of most of the patients at the hospital and their families.

CHIBUIKE AMAECHI----FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IS MAKING EFFORT TO DEVELOP A MASTER PLAN ON NATIONAL TRANSPORTATION.

   Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Amaechi, on Wednesday, said the Federal Government is developing a national transportation master plan to diversify the economy and improve non oil sector revenue.

  

           

             “The government of President Muhammadu Buhari is in the process of developing a national transportation master plan that will be implemented as a fulfillment of one of his campaign promises to diversify the national economy while improving non oil sector revenue.''


             According to him, if properly positioned, the transport sector holds the key to unlocking economic potentials for the country.

            Speaking at a briefing after a tour of facilities at the Lagos Airport, the former Rivers State governor said government is determined to fully exploit the potential of the transport sector by opening it up for new investment.

           “The Buhari administration is determined to fully exploit the potentials in the transportation sector. As a first step, the government will pursue the enactment of legislation that will open up the sector to new investments that will lead to economic prosperity,” Amaechi said.  

             “The problems of Nigerian transport system include bad roads, inadequate fleet of buses and trucks, irregular and inadequate trains and airplanes services and congested ports''. In addition to these, are physical problems such as the dearth of suitably trained transport managers and planners, capital restructuring bottlenecks, serious issues of institutional reforms and ineffective traffic regulations.

              “While reducing dependence on oil revenue, it will also develop the rural economy, reduce unemployment and urban drift.''
              
                          
       

NIGERIA SETS TO BORROW N1.84TRILLION COMES 2016.

       Nigeria will borrow an amount of money worth N900 billion abroad to fund its budget deficit which is expected to double to N2.2 trillion in 2016. Also, the country plans to borrow N984 billion locally. This is to enable the government to revive Nigeria’s weakening economy by tripling capital expenditure.

           Nigeria’s 2016 budget is an increase of about 20 percent from this year. The N2.2 trillion deficit is 2.16 percent of gross domestic product, increasing from about 0.79 this year.


          “The 2016 budget, as outlined, is designed to ensure that we revive our economy, deliver inclusive growth to Nigerians and create a significant number of jobs,” said President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday when he appeared before the parliament to present the budget.

         The total budget volume would be N6.08 trillion. RIVERS STATE GOVERNOR NYESOME WIKE SAYS,''HE WILL DEFEAT EVERY POLITICAL FOES AGAINST HIM''

FG PLANS TO PROBE AIRLINE EMBARRASSMENT IN BAUCHI STATE

    
   
             An embarrassing picture of showing passengers disembarking from a Boeing 737 aircraft, at the Bauchi airport with a ladder, went viral on social media over the weekend.

        

          The airline in the centre of the matter, Aero Contractors has issued a statement explaining the incident.

        “A special charter flight, operated by Aero to Bauchi, had problems with unserviceable equipment by the airport management in disembarking about 34 passengers from Abuja. Consequently, against the airline’s wish and operational safety guideline, the passengers used a ladder to disembark.''

             

                       

 

     According to Punch Newspapers, the Federal Government has instituted a probe into the matter to ascertain why it happened.

     

   “However, at the time of boarding, the air stairs were functional and the passengers boarded successfully. Aero wishes to state that it took adequate and safety measures for this operation, including the airport’s ground staff, to handle the air stairs equipment in Bauchi. Unfortunately, it became unserviceable at the point of disembarking.”

      

    Nigerian Aviation Handling Company (NAHCO) has denied any involvement in the incident saying, "The attention of NAHCO has been drawn to reports on the social media that it was its failure to provide handling service to Aero that caused passengers to disembark with a ladder at the airport.''

   

  “Nothing can be farther from the truth. NAHCO does not have operations in Bauchi. This fact is known to Aero and all our client airlines. So, for Aero to embark on that chartered flight to Bauchi, it definitely would have made private arrangements.”

   Also speaking on the incident, the Minister of State for Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika said the incident was un-acceptable and inconsistent with aviation best practices and standards.

   Sirika added that the probe was to determine how to avoid a re-occurrence of the un-safe incident and also find out the root cause.

TEENAGERS JAILED OVER WEARING SAGGING TROUSERS TO SCHOOL.

 
     

       Two high school students in Tennessee spent 48 hours in jail because they came to school in sagging pants.

      The Huffington Post reports four students at Bolivar Central High School, which is about 70 miles east of Memphis, were charged with indecent exposure in early November because they wore sagging pants.

     Two of the students were jailed, including Antonio Ammons.





      The Huffington Post reports sagging pants have been banned in some communities, including Opa-Locka, Florida, and Wildwood, New Jersey.

       A city council member in Dadevill, Alabama, proposed that the city ban sagging pants earlier this year because “God would not go around with pants down,” according to the Huffington Post.


     Ammons told NBC station WMC he’d never been to jail before and was placed with other inmates. In addition to the jail time, Ammons is now facing $250 in fines and court fees, according to the Huffington Post. WREG, the Memphis CBS station, reports sagging pants violate the school dress code.

     Deputy Charles Woods, the Bolivar Central High School resource officer, said he had reprimanded the students several times before the arrest.

SHOCKING-- 2016 FAYOSE'S PROPHECIES FOR NIGERIANS

       
     Governor of  Ekiti State, Fayose Ayodele, has given unbelievable prophecies for Nigeria comes 2016.


     



       He gave the prophecies during a press briefing in Lagos on Sunday, December 13, 2015. Fayose had lambasted the Senate for the controversial ‘Bill for an Act to Prohibit Frivolous Petitions and Other Matters’ otherwise known as the anti-social media bill.

      He however went further to say that: “We are going to release a lot of things.They have attempted to cow everybody and that is why they are sponsoring the anti-social media bill in the National Assembly. 

      They want to cow the press and the people. I am surprised that the media is quiet about this bill. The press can’t talk again, they are afraid and it shouldn’t be so.

The governor has given fifteen (15) predictions that would happen in Nigeria in the year 2016. He said:

1.       Power generation would drop while 6.7 million Nigerians would lose their jobs.

2.    . “In 2016, our girls will never come back because the BBOG people has started enjoying the booty. Why will an armed robber be fighting a pickpocket?”

3.      Corruption under Buhari will be on the increase, poverty in the nation will be at its highest in history. He said: ‘I want to tell you that power generation will be at its lowest ebb in 2016. Our earnings will be low.  I can’t remember some (predictions) but I will address another press conference to tell Nigerians what to expect. We cannot continue with this deceit and propaganda.’

 4.    There will be removal of oil subsidy within the first-quarter of next year. 

 

5.    There will be so much disobedience to court orders.

       The governor concluded by condemning the federal government’s probe of Sambo Dasuki,a former National Security Adviser. He urged the President to “make public, the monies spent by the Office of the National Security Adviser in the last 16 years.”

       Before that, he had accused Buhari of being selective in the fight against corruption, saying he should be bold enough to probe Obasanjo’s administration and others so that his anti-graft war can be total.

Why My Wife Divorced Me – Oyakhilome Finally Speaks On Divorce Drama

     Founder of Believers Love World Ministry aka Christ Embassy, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, has finally spoken on the divorce suit filed against him by his wife after days of silence on the issue.

According to the Daily Post, Oyakhilome described the allegations levelled against him as “crazy” and “stupid” and urged his church members to pray for his estranged wife while speaking on Sunday evening during the monthly global communion service of the church.

Oyakhilome, who appeared visibly disturbed during his first few minutes on stage, acknowledged that divorce is un-Biblical but suggested he could consider the option should his wife insist on it.

“I heard that some media houses– especially in Nigeria, are writing some things against me. All sorts of frivolous charges, that’s crazy.

“You have to understand something about a man of God. A man of God is not just someone who worships God or preaches God. A man of God is handpicked by God, set on course by God. If you study the scriptures, you will not find one man of God go against God, sinning against God.

“The only thing you might find will be a man of God, maybe in two different kinds of ways. Moses, for example, when he struck the rock twice, he was provoked by the anger of the people. It was not because he wanted to do something against the Lord. No man of God does something against the Lord.

“Are you hearing me? A man of God is set on a course; there is a type of life that he is given. Then you have a young man, a young prophet; he wasn’t named; he was deceived by another man of God and so he went in a direction that God said ‘don’t go’.

“That is the only kind of thing you find about a man of God when he misses the message of God or he acts beyond what God said. But a man of God settles himself in the fight against the world… like those writing those stupid things about me, that I did this and I did that.

“You don’t know who a man of God is. I don’t go in that direction. I wasn’t accused of the things you said, nor did I commit those stupid things that you said and I don’t need to go into that level in such discussions”.

He recalled that Jesus passed through similar travails and eventually overcame.

He said that although so many people were making mockery of him, he would remain steadfast and not lose focus.

“Jesus Christ was accused by many– a lot of frivolous charges. There will always be those who would like for it to be true. But you know, in spite of the accusations against Jesus, It didn’t change who he was. It didn’t change him.

“There are preachers and there are men of God. I am not a preacher; I am a man of God and I go in the way I’m asked to go. It may cause some troubles with individuals but that’s not because I have done something wrong and when it comes to Reverend Anita, what I will say to you is ‘pray for her’.

“Don’t act like those people. If you are married to a man of God, it doesn’t make you automatically mature. You can make mistakes; you can do something that is wrong. But some people expect the wife of a minister to definitely be at the level of that minister and so they may be looked upon and the expectation may be like that, but it’s a positional thing.

“If a man of God is married, it doesn’t automatically mean that the wife of a man of God is therefore a woman of God. That’s not the way it is in the Bible. That’s why you don’t really find the wives of men of God mentioned in the Bible. How many of them? Who was Peter’s wife, did you ever know her name? You never find that out. Who was John’s wife? Did you ever read the name? What about all the other Apostles? How many of their names are written in the Bible? You never find their names”, he added.

At this point, one of the female pastors sought to know why the names of wives of the men of God were not found in the Bible.

Oyakhilome’s response was that she should ask God whenever she finds him.

‘“Why? You ask God when you find him. Ask God when you find him”, he exclaimed.

“So, they are little things; don’t try to make something big out of them. So when journeying, doing the things that God called us to do, Christians should not have a divorce; it shouldn’t be, but you see, that doesn’t mean a Christian may not take the step.

“They may do it but they have to make things right and we shouldn’t take one another to court. But when it happens, not that we don’t just want to go, it means someone is taking us there.

NOLLYWOOD ACTOR OSITA IHEME OPENED A HOTEL.

     

    Smal- sized Nollywood actor, Osita Iheme has just opened a hotel in the city of Owerri.

 

       

       In August 2015, Osita Iheme announced he was building a hotel, he even shared a picture of him on the construction site of the hotel on his Instagram.

    

       According to new reports from Afrique, the comic actor hosted his friends in the hotel last weekend after its completion.

     The hotel named ‘The Resident’ will commence full operations and open to the public before Christmas Day.

     He captioned the picture “Can’t wait….. Put many out of business. #TheResident.”

     

     

   

     

HERE ARE FIVE WAYS TO REDUCE YOUR STRESS AND ENJOY MORE FUN

         To say the truth, we all experience stress day in, day out, some more than others, but we all have it. Some amount of stress can be good for you; it clues you into areas of your life that may need changing. Excess or too much of stress can be very harmful, both physically and mentally.


 

      
      If you are experiencing stress, here are 5 ways to help get it relieved:



 1.      Take time for yourself.
  

      When we take the time to focus on ourselves, reflect on our lives, think about our future, and just relax a bit, it can help us overcome those feelings that are causing us anxiety. Go for a walk alone, take a bubble bath, do yoga in your living room during nap time, whatever it is, find a way to spend some time just on you.

      Most of us have several roles: mother, sister, wife, friend, co-worker, and the list goes one. It can be hard justifying spending time on yourself when there are so many other people that need you. But it is vital to overcoming stress.
  
 2.     Pinpoint what is stressing you
      
      Sometimes it may be difficult to know just what it is that is causing us to freak out. But take some time to think about your day:


      What worries you?

      What do you enjoy doing?

      What makes you want to stay in bed under the covers all day?

     These may be some of the things that are bothering.


    If you are scared to go to the grocery store because you don’t know if you can afford it or not? Then your finances are actually what is stressing you out. Don't be surprised.


    Do you hate waking up in the morning because it means you have to go to work? Then, there is probably something at your job, or your job itself, that makes you worried.


  Only when you know what is causing you stress, can you begin to fix it.
 

 3.      Take action

       The most important step in overcoming stress is to take action. If you are always worried about money, make a budget and stick to it. There is nothing more empowering than knowing how much money you have to spend and when you need to stop.

       
      If you can’t stand your job, find ways to be positive about it. Even if you cannot think of one good thing about your job, start telling yourself you enjoy it. Even if it is not true, if you say it enough, you may start to believe it.


     If your kids are stressing you out, find new parenting techniques to try with them. Join a playgroup or enroll them in a sport to help them focus their energy on something besides driving you crazy.

     If you cannot find a solution for what is stressing you, turn to others for advice. Read a blog about it, get advice from a friend, or research your situation further. 
    There are always ways to overcoming what is ailing you.

5.     Express your feelings


      Take the time to explore the emotions you are feeling, to really identify just what is bothering you. Sometimes just talking about something helps you to feel better. It is a great technique to help you de-stress.

     Whatever your preferred form of expression, do it. It helps to get it out there. Having it bottled up inside of you only makes it grow bigger.

     It is important to express your feelings about what you are experiencing. This can be done through talking to a friend or loved one, a counselor, or even just writing about it in your personal journal.
