The Oba of Benin, 'Omo n’Oba Erediauwa Akpolokpolo I,' Has Joined His Ancestors.

     The Benin Royal Monarch 'Omo n’Oba Erediauwa Akpolokpolo I,has joined his ancestos . The death of the Oba was made known today in a statement by the Edo State Governor.


     The Governor, 'Adams Oshiomole' described the late Oba as a distinguished Edo numero uno, an accomplished Nigerian, a seasoned bureaucrat, quintessential unifier, unique personage and exemplary Omo N’Oba, whose reign brought distinction, immense class, finesse and integrity to traditional institution in Edo state and the country at large.

     His death is a big blow to The Benin Empire, all TRADITIONAL RULERS across the land as well as the country as a whole.
