Annette Cookey Says, 'She Will Go Nude For The Right Reason'

Contrary to popular notions of selling music using nudity, R&B singer Annette Cookey believes nothing can make her go naked 
 in videos.

The Rivers indigene, who was the third runner-up at the 2008 Project Fame West Africa, in an interview with Vanguard she said that going nude in a music video just for ratings is a no-no for her.

However, the singer revealed she could be seen naked if it is for the right reason.

She said: “Why will I go nude in a music video? Except it’s for charity or to save lives. I don’t think I can go nude. It’s a ‘No’! for me. I can show a little flesh here and there but to go nude,it has to be just for a cause,may be to save lives.''

Annette also revealed that she doesn’t really have ‘specifics for men’.

“Some will say they prefer white men, some will say they prefer dark-skinned men, the list goes on.

 A man who will love the totality of who I am, who is God-fearing, he should have good looks, and should be able to sing at least a little. I think I should add tall, he should be romantic, make me laugh regardless of his colour or his race,” she disclosed.

Annette Cookey hit popularity following her appearance at the 2008 Project Fame.

She is a graduate of the University of Port Harcourt. Other than music she is also involved in modelling.

The pretty singer is also known for her singles Ife Mi, Tic Toc and Mago Mago.
